Yes. All needles used are sterile, single-use, and disposed of immediately after your session. Your provider is a Licensed Acupuncturist (L.Ac.), trained and credentialed to administer treatment safely.

Yes, we accept Blue Cross Blue Shield, Harvard Pilgrim, Aetna, and Cigna (Ash) plans for Acupuncture, though coverage will vary on carrier and your specific plan. Please verify your coverage before your appointment. Not all Acupuncture benefits are guaranteed to be covered; it is important to know that even though you may have benefits, your insurance may choose to not cover services. Our billing team checks benefits before your first Acupuncture visit so be sure we have the most up-to-date health insurance information on file. Acupuncture is also HSA/FSA eligible. If you have insurance that covers acupuncture and we are not in network, we are happy to provide a receipt of payment with coding for you to submit to your insurance provider for reimbursement.

Eat something light beforehand — don't come in starving, and be sure to hydrate (that's a good general state to be regardless). Wear comfortable clothing, and try not to schedule anything rushed immediately afterward, since many people leave sessions in a pretty mellow state.
